Underwater Lighting
Underwater lights live in the harshest place on the boat. We install and replace them per manufacturer specification, repair their circuits and controls, and fix the sealing and bonding issues that shorten their life.

What's included
Prism Marine Electric provides underwater lighting for yachts, superyachts and sportfish vessels in Fort Lauderdale and throughout Broward, Palm Beach and Miami-Dade County — dockside, at anchor or during a yard period. Licensed, insured and available 24/7, with worldwide travel for vessels under our care.
- Underwater light installation to manufacturer spec
- Fixture replacement and through-hull sealing
- Driver, dimmer and color control circuits
- Circuit protection and cable routing correction
- Bonding and corrosion protection at fixtures
- Function and thermal-cutout testing
Our method
Premature underwater light failure is usually heat, water ingress at the gland, or a bonding problem — not a bad fixture. We correct the cause while the light is out rather than fitting a replacement into the same conditions.
We install what the owner chooses, per the manufacturer's instructions. We're not a dealer for any brand, so the recommendation is based on the vessel, not a margin.
Signs it's time to call
- Lights dimming, flickering or failing early
- Water or corrosion at the fixture housing
- Colors or controls no longer responding
- Adding underwater lights during a yard period
