What's included
Prism Marine Electric provides galley, laundry & appliance wiring for yachts, superyachts and sportfish vessels in Fort Lauderdale and throughout Broward, Palm Beach and Miami-Dade County — dockside, at anchor or during a yard period. Licensed, insured and available 24/7, with worldwide travel for vessels under our care.
- Appliance load assessment from manufacturer specs
- New power feeder runs and cable routing
- Breaker addition, panel space and protection sizing
- Galley and laundry retrofit electrical support
- Dedicated circuits for cooktops, ovens, washers and dryers
- HVAC and equipment feeder runs for other trades
- Commissioning, load testing and labeling
Our method
We don't sell appliances — we make sure the boat can actually run the one you bought. That starts with the nameplate data, the existing panel capacity and the cable route, before anything gets ordered or installed.
Circuits are installed in tinned marine cable with proper support and chafe protection, protected at the right rating, then labeled at both ends so the next person can trace it.
Signs it's time to call
- Installing new galley or laundry equipment
- Breaker tripping when an appliance runs
- No spare panel capacity for a new circuit
- Appliance wired into an undersized existing circuit
