Alarm & Monitoring Systems
Monitoring only helps if it's accurate. We repair and expand bilge, high-water, tank level, temperature, pressure and machinery alarm systems, verify every sensor and make sure the annunciator tells the truth at 3 a.m.

What's included
Prism Marine Electric provides alarm & monitoring systems for yachts, superyachts and sportfish vessels in Fort Lauderdale and throughout Broward, Palm Beach and Miami-Dade County — dockside, at anchor or during a yard period. Licensed, insured and available 24/7, with worldwide travel for vessels under our care.
- Bilge and high-water alarm repair and testing
- Tank level, temperature and pressure sensing
- Machinery and engine room alarm circuits
- Annunciator panel repair and relabeling
- Remote and cabin-side alarm repeaters
- End-to-end functional testing and documentation
Our method
We test alarms by causing the condition, not by pressing the test button. Float switches get exercised, sensors get compared against a reference, and every point on the panel gets confirmed against the actual device it claims to monitor.
Where a system has been patched over the years, we rationalize it — one wiring standard, one labeling scheme, one document that matches the boat.
Signs it's time to call
- Nuisance alarms or alarms that never sound
- Panel points that don't match their labels
- Sensors replaced with mismatched parts
- Upcoming survey with open alarm deficiencies
